ITEM 8.01    Other Events.

In connection with its January 1, 2021 investment in Ark Insurance Holdings, Ltd (“Ark”), White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. (the “Company”) committed to provide up to $200 million of additional capital to Ark at Ark’s option. The Company and Ark have agreed to extend the deadline for Ark to call this capital from June 30, 2021 to August 16, 2021.
