White Mountains Postpones 2002 Annual Investor Meeting
Hamilton, Bermuda, May 15, 2002 – White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. ("White Mountains") today announced the postponement of its 2002 Annual Investor Meeting. The meeting was originally scheduled for May 23rd at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
Earlier today, White Mountains announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 1.2 million of its common shares to the public. In light of the imposed restrictions regarding public communications during this registration period, White Mountains has chosen to postpone its Investor Meeting until after the sale of its common shares has been completed.
