Sirius Completes Acquisition of Tryg-Baltica International

Stockholm, Sweden, November 11, 2004 Stockholm-based Sirius International Insurance Corporation (Sirius) - a White Mountains Re company and a wholly owned subsidiary of White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd., announced today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Tryg-Baltica Forsikring, internationalt forsikringsselskab A/S (TBi).

As a result of the change of ownership the General Assembly of TBi has today decided to rename the Company; Sirius (Denmark) Forsikringsselskab A/S. This change will come into effect as soon as it has been approved and registered in Denmark.

Sirius International Insurance Corporation (Sirius) is the main operating unit of the Sirius International Group, an international reinsurance organization owned and overseen by White Mountains Re Group, Ltd.
