ITEM 8.01 Other Events.
OneBeacon Insurance Group has received a subpoena from the Attorney General of the State of New York requesting documents and seeking information relating to the conduct of business between insurance brokers and OneBeacon. Subsidiaries of the Registrant have also received information requests from various state insurance departments regarding producer compensation arrangements. We believe these requests are part of the ongoing, industry-wide investigation regarding industry sales practices. We are cooperating in responding to the subpoena and the information requests.
